The company that sells Satellite TV for PC Elite software has boldly claimed that you will be able to turn your PC into a super TV. But does it deliver on its promise? Will you be able to watch your favorite TV programs and Box Office hits from thousands of TV channels worldwide?

Before we go there, it helps to dispel the myths surrounding the Satellite for PC Elite software and the company that makes this product. The company is not the conventional cable or TV networks that deliver programs directly to your home. Instead it creates the proprietary software called Satellite TV for PC Elite, a state-of-the-art media player that is programmed to access and stream thousands of media files from the internet.

Satellite TV for PC Elite allows you to watch a TV show real time on your favorite web browser or media player. This is achieved with advanced software coding that allows different packets of information to be sent over the network in the most efficient manner so that you don’t have to wait for the entire file to be downloaded before you start enjoying the program.

As with all software, Satellite TV for PC Elite does have its drawback. For one, it only works with Windows-based computers. It also relies on the free Windows Media Player that comes together with your operating system or other third party media player for it to work. However, I don’t see this as a major issue as almost all Windows-based computers already have these media software installed.
